Terms and Conditions – 47th International Congress for the History of Pharmacy (Innsbruck 2026)
Welcome to the website of the 47th International Congress for the History of Pharmacy. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website https://ishp2026.com as well as the registration for and participation in the 47th International Congress for the History of Pharmacy, taking place from 2 to 5 September 2026 in Innsbruck, Austria.
The congress is organized by the Austrian Society for the History of Pharmacy (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Geschichte der Pharmazie – ÖGGP, www.pharmaziegeschichte.at).
By accessing this website, registering for the congress, submitting an abstract, or participating in the event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Registration for the congress is carried out exclusively via the official congress website. Participation is only confirmed upon full receipt of the applicable participation fee. The organizer reserves the right to reject registrations for justified reasons.
Participation fees are published on the congress website. Payment is generally made online via the website. In exceptional cases, payment by bank transfer may be granted upon prior request by email.
Withdrawal from congress participation is possible only until 30 June 2026. In the event of withdrawal by this date, 50% of the participation fee will be refunded. After 30 June 2026, no refunds will be granted. A cancellation (“storno”) is only possible within three (3) calendar days from the date of purchase and only before 30 June 2026.
The submission of abstracts or poster proposals is independent of congress registration and payment. Payment of the participation fee does not guarantee acceptance of an abstract or poster. All submissions are subject to scientific review by the congress’s scientific committee. Decisions regarding acceptance or rejection are final. The rejection of an abstract or poster does not constitute grounds for withdrawal, cancellation, or refund of the participation fee.
In the event that the congress must be cancelled or substantially modified due to organizational, financial, or other reasons, the organizer reserves the right to provide only a partial refund, depending on the costs already incurred. No further claims may be asserted.
In cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, or other unforeseeable events beyond the organizer’s control, there is generally no entitlement to a refund.
During the congress, photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings may be made. By participating, attendees consent to the use of such material for documentation, scientific reporting, public relations, and media purposes, without entitlement to compensation.
All content published on this website, including texts, images, logos, and congress materials, is protected by intellectual property law. Any use beyond personal, non-commercial purposes requires prior written consent from the organizer.
